Speed Optimization & Core Web Vitals
Reference implementation: how I build and maintain a WordPress site with performance-first structure, stable delivery, and measurable Core Web Vitals outcomes.

This case study is intentionally framed as a reference implementation. The same principles are applied to client work, but client reports are not shown unless the current state remains verifiable.
Context
Performance work is only valuable if it’s stable over time. This site is built with a structure that avoids bloat, reduces unnecessary requests, and keeps Core Web Vitals predictable.
Approach (summary)
Keep the payload lean
Minimize what loads by default. Avoid unnecessary libraries and bloated widgets.
Deliver critical content first
Ensure key UI loads quickly and stays stable — especially hero and above-the-fold sections.
Stability after updates
Performance should remain strong after content edits and plugin updates — not break next week.
